We are presently recruiting forShift Managerswho will thrive in this culture. This position will be located at our Kingsburg, CA Float Glass facility.

The position will be responsible for the following:

* Ensure that health and safety procedures and environment policies are followed and company guidelines are implemented

* Provide strong leadership in a manner that fosters participation in continuous improvement efforts, open communication and a self:directed team approach.

* Implement operating procedures for all shift production activities

* Maintain a standard of shift performance for plant operations

* Establish priorities and allocate resources

* Measure and track improvement in shift performance

* Ensure that products are produced/delivered on time and are of good quality to the satisfaction of the customer

* Conduct performance appraisal with shift personnel to encourage improvement and growth with each individual

* Maintain a union:free workplace by establishing and demonstrating positive relationships with team members

* Provide direction and leadership in the resolution of technical, production:related and quality problems to assure completion

The background and experience requirements for this position are as follows:

* Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business related field

* Minimum of 3:7 years supervisory experience working in a fast pace, high pressure, 24/7/365 manufacturing environment

* Demonstrated success in measuring and improving processes to meet organization goals

* Demonstrated experience in leading continuous improvement efforts

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Willingness and ability to work a rotating shift schedule

* Demonstrated experience in leading positive employee relations in order to maintain a union:free environment

* Ability to coordinate with other departments and managers
